In fact, this is both our most powerful AND or quietest unit. How is this possible? An exceptionally robust industrial-grade fan, isolated through a noise-deadening ducted design puts the 3.0 in a class all by itself. It’s more expensive to build, and requires a little more energy to run, but the performance—in terms of both airflow and noise—is truly exceptional. While all AirScape fans deliver high power and low noise, the 3.0 sets new standards in both. The unique ducted design and powerful 18-inch fan work together to raise the bar in terms of performance/noise ratio. The amount of air this unit moves is impressive, and the noise level at which it does this is even more impressive. You really need to feel it and hear it to believe it.
Over-the-top build quality

The shipping weight of this unit is over 80 lbs; the fan alone, with its cast-aluminum motorized impeller, weighs nearly 30 lbs. Two-speed operation
On high speed, you get a whopping 3000 CFM to cool your house down fast without sounding like a jet engine. Set to low, the 3.0 runs virtually silent—all you’ll hear is air whooshing quietly through the cube core grill.
Adjustable low-speed setting
Also, the low-speed setting is user-adjustable, so you can tweak it according to your tastes and installation requirements to achieve maximum low-speed flow rates while maintaining near-silent noise levels.
Excellent energy efficiency
At full power, the AirScape 3.0 uses just 360 watts of power, a small fraction of the energy used by an A/C compressor. While the ducted design requires more energy than our other models, the 3.0 is still very efficient. If you are comparison shopping, you’ll see that the 3.0 uses significantly less power than competitive whole house fans in terms of CFM/Watt.
Automatic heavy-duty dampers
A key drawback with traditional whole house fans was air leakage between the attic and living spaces. This could result in dirty attic air entering your home, and, in cold climates, warm, and moist indoor air entering the attic and causing water damage through condensation. Properly installed, the AirScape 3.0 takes care of this problem with an automatic, industrial-quality damper operated by a commercial-grade actuator. When the fan is off, your attic is sealed tight. So attic air NEVER leaks into your living space, and warm air never condenses in your attic.
Premium Cube Core grill
The AirScape 3.0 comes with a premium high-flow grill that minimizes air movement noise through the grill. These high-performance grills look great too, so your system looks as unobtrusive as it sounds.
Maintenance-free operation
The German-engineered sealed motor never requires lubrication. And the only other moving part is the heavy-duty door actuator which is also maintenance-free. All mechanical parts are accessible and can be serviced or replaced without removing the entire unit.
